Porcelain mug with coloured slip decoration, clear-glazed inside and out. During the glaze firing some metal dust fell from the pyrometer into the mug, leaving a few small marks. There is also a tiny ‘chip’ in the edge of the base (the porcelain was ‘plucked’ by the shelf. This has no effect on the functionality of the mug.

My glazes are all food safe (unless indicated otherwise) and pieces can be put in the microwave and dishwasher. However I always recommend hand-washing for hand made ceramics. See‘Care’ for more.
