Wheel-thrown porcelain bowl incised and inlaid with black slip. Glazed inside with smooth white glaze; diamond polished unglazed exterior. The ‘wild wave’ design is inspired by high winter North Sea waves off the North East coast where I spent much of my earlier years.
In this piece the black inlay has ‘missed’ a little in places as you can see in the image.
Approx size dxh (cm): 17 × 8 cm
My glazes are food safe and pieces can be put in the microwave and dishwasher. However I always recommend hand-washing for hand made ceramics. See ‘Care’ for more.
Postage & Shipping: At present I only ship within the UK - see shipping costs. Any excess will be refunded. Collection from my Walton on Thames studio is free.
