Handbuilt stoneware dish, ochre slip, incised and inlaid with slate porcelain slip, unglazed. The bowl was fired to 1260ºC so is fully vitrified and impermeable to liquids. The surface is slightly coarse but the bowl can be used for food, fruit or for display.

Glazes are microwave, dishwasher and food safe, but I always recommend hand-washing for hand made ceramics. See‘Care’ for more.
