future pottery classes - register your interest

If you’re not ready to take a class just yet, but would like to know about future classes, it is FREE to register your interest and it doesn’t commit you to take any at all. Registration means that you will receive notification about classes as soon as information is available.

I will offer future dates and times when I know what will best suit participants. When registering, you can let me know your own preferred days and times*.

Each class will last 2 to 21/2 hours with a maximum of four per class. Everyone MUST be over the age of 16.

Classes will cover some of the many and varied handbuilding techniques available to potters. These include the Kurinuki method - a traditional Japanese ceramics technique and a great introduction for beginners - and using slabs to create larger pieces.

Refreshments and all tools and materials are provided, glazing, kiln firings and your finished work are all included in the workshop fee. You will be able to collect your finished work from the studio when it is ready.
